The Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women poses as an all-girls prep school, but in reality it’s a school for super spies. This is the story of Cammie “the Chameleon” Morgan, who can kill a man seven different ways but can’t unravel the complexities of a teenage boy’s heart. With the help of her bff’s (and a few secert operations), Cammie applies her super sleuthdom/stalkdom to dating. Cammie and her friends attempt to answer that quintessential question: is he really that into me? As well as the important follow-up question, is he worth it?

Ally Carter is brilliant in writing Cammie’s voice. She captures the fun-loving apsects of girldom and first love. I’D TELL YOU–was a great summer read, a total page turner and would be appropriate for girls younger than the target audience. It strikes a great balance of girl power and boy crazy with all the zaniness a top secret school for girl spies can offer. I can’t wait to read the next Gallagher girls book, CROSS MY HEART AND HOPE TO SPY.
